Ballet is the foundation of all dance disciplines. At Outline Dance Centre, our ballet programme builds strong technique, posture, musicality, and discipline. Classes follow the AIDT syllabus, providing a clear progression path from beginner through to advanced levels with internationally recognised examinations.

Who Can Join

Ballet classes are available for dancers from age 3 through to adult. Classes are grouped by age and ability:

✦ Pre-primary (ages 3-5): Introduction to movement, rhythm, and coordination

✦ Primary and grades: Progressive technical development following AIDT syllabus

✦ Advanced: Pointe work, complex choreography, and performance preparation

AIDT Ballet Examinations

Our ballet students sit for AIDT examinations annually, assessed by external examiners. With a 100% pass rate maintained for over 20 years and many students earning distinctions, our ballet programme delivers consistent results built on proper technique and dedicated teaching.
